As an introductory session, we cover major factors impacting youth training and introduce guidelines for youth specific injury prevention and performance training. Using key exercises for assessment and training progressions, our Youth Athletic Development programs combine fundamental movement mechanics, speed/agility drills, and dynamic mobility exercises. Based on injury rehabilitation principles for a progressive, evidence-based approach to functional movement, we will explore training that increases musculoskeletal function, neuromuscular control, and metabolic efficiency which will simultaneously improve performance and prevent injuries.
