This program will describe the basics of CrossFit and how it can help children successfully achieve the SHAPE America K-12 National Physical Education Standards. Teaching progressions, kid-friendly workouts, and fitness-based games from the CrossFit Kids program will be demonstrated, and resources for implementing CrossFit in school PE programs will be presented. Lastly, success stories from PE teachers who have implemented CrossFit in their schools, at both the elementary and high school levels, will be shared.
