This training reviews alcohol use by athletes and presents motivational interviewing technique as a form of brief intervention by coaches with athletes who drink and suffer the consequences of alcohol-related risky behaviors. Using role-plays, videos and games participants will engage in lively discussion and active learning. Participants will learn how to engage in a collaborative, athlete-centered discussion on how to make behavior change which will improve on sport performance and athlete health and well-being.
