Children have more stress than ever, with 60-80% of doctor's visits attributed to stress related illness. Incorporating stress-reducing techniques now gives the students a leg up on their emotional and academic evolution. Let's help our children, and ourselves, by giving them practical and simple techniques to control their stress response. Stress leads to decreased immune function and cognitive cloudiness. Simple techniques like visualization, affirmations and mini meditations can increase health and school outcomes.
