479 (Secondary PE Day) Theme-Based PE Activities to Excite Middle School Students

How do you get the middle school student excited about physical education class and avoid the “this is boring” response? With these theme-based activities to get the students excited about an upcoming physical education unit or as a culmination to a recently taught unit. The activities are geared for middle school students but can be adapted for the K – 5 levels. Activities can be tied in with core curriculum units and get parent involvement. (CEU)
