What kind of impact do teacher candidates have on student learning in physical education and health education? North Carolina has implemented new PE/HE teaching license requirements taking assessment practices to new heights. This session will: 1. explore the issues related to this new requirement, 2. examine underpinnings of quality assessment practice, 3. review teacher candidate assessment projects, and, 4. offer examples of assessment from experienced teachers.
