Part #1 focuses on a project in which university health majors assisted communities in Peru and Mexico in assessing their most urgent health needs, and cultivating the processes and procedures to increase community capacity to meet identified needs. Part #2 describes a nutrition and physical activity project, based on Social-Ecological Model, where students conducted an observational environmental assessment and traveled to Italy to share their results with Italian students, faculty and other health promotion professionals.
