Research indicates that student learning increases when lessons are standards-based and include formative assessments, differentiation, and strategies for English Learners. We hear the terms, but is it possible to include all of this in a semester health class? Do you feel like you barely get the basic concepts covered before giving a final? Come experience sample lessons that include these strategies and components. We’ll discuss practical approaches that you can use to increase student success.
