How does a student decide between the numerous foods available? Some are high in calories and fat. Some have few nutrients. Some are strategically marketed. And, of course, everyone is concerned about taste! Making healthy food choices greatly affects an adolescent’s wellness, and health educators play a vital role helping students make informed decisions. This session will give health teachers a practical approach to teaching nutrition education through creative and engaging lessons.
