A Case Study of Collegiate Sports Culture Evolution in China |
It is imperative for sports and physical education researchers to examine the developmental processes of Chinese collegiate sports history so we can use these historical references to wisely structure modern collegiate sports systems for our school settings. This presentation reveals that the Chinese collegiate sports cultures from historical perspectives mainly emphasize sports values, students’ moral development, control of sports management system, and engagement in sports competition and physical activities as extra-curricula collegiate sports activities. |
