Jazzin' up Musical Theatre! |
CHICAGO, A CHORUS LINE, GREASE...Explore jazz dance in these classic musical theater productions. We will discuss themes, styles and historical perspectives in musicals, then create combinations in groups.
Whether involved in school or the community, physical/dance educators may be expected to choreograph for a musical theater setting. Rewarding for both performers and choreographer, learn methods for creating dances suitable for all levels and ages. The end result may be the showstopper the audience will applaud. |
