Teaching with Passion: Experiencing Effective and Engaging Secondary Health Education |
Experiential learning has been shown to help students retain lessons for a longer period. If students remember 80% of what they experience (rather than just see or hear), shouldn't educators present more information in an experiential format? In this hands-on session, participants will explore experiential learning strategies and recognize how teaching with passion while immersing students in the learning experience helps students better understand lessons taught in the secondary health classroom. |
