PETE Doctoral Program: Current Status and Future Directions |
Findings from the 2009 Heitmann grant will be discussed. Specially, results will address three project questions: (a) number, characteristics and possible changes in doctoral granting PETE programs during the past 3 years; (b) “supply” (PETE doctoral candidate production plus the number of existing PETE professionals, who successfully changed positions) and “demand” (job positions availability) targeted to the academic year of 2008-2009, and (c) strategies for the enhanced production of future doctoral level PETE professionals. |
