Internship Injuries: What May Create Negligence? |
A university may be held liable for injuries sustained by a student during the course of a required internship if the student can prove that negligent actions by the university resulted in the harm (Stamatakos, 1990). This presentation will identify 1) foresee ability of harm; 2) nature of the risk; 3) connection of the college's act or omission to injury; and 4) university responsibility as issues of which the internship supervisor must be aware. |
