Is the goal of school health education to foster the adoption and maintenance of healthy behaviors or is it to improve knowledge and skills? Is there a difference? Are public health goals being inappropriately applied in school settings? Are health literacy objectives intended to result in behavior change, or not? Presenters will outline their positions and participants will engage in a discussion around these questions. |
