New Reflective Practice for Health Education: The National Certification Process |
This session will give an overview of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards process in the area of health education. Since 1987 almost 74,000 teachers have received National Board Certification and last year was the first year it was offered to health educators. Attendees will learn what steps go into this process including the time, money and emotional commitment from someone that actually went through this endeavor, as well as the benefits it offers. |
