Accurate Representation?: Media Guide Images of Female College Athletes |
To date, most research examining media representations of female athletes has focused on those competing in the professional ranks or at the NCAA Division-I level. This study examined images of female student-athletes competing in volleyball, soccer, softball and basketball presented on the covers of media guides at the NCAA Division-II, NCAA Division-III, and NAIA competitive levels. This session will share the findings of the study. |
