Physical Activity and Health Disparities: Measurement & Implications
This symposium will provide an overview of PA and health disparities among different U.S. demographic and socioeconomic subpopulations (i.e., race/ethnicity, gender, income, education, age, disability). It will raise important measurement issues and challenges in disparity research and introduce selected advanced measurement and statistical techniques such as the differential item/test analysis (DIF) method for PA and health disparity research.
