Facilitators & Barriers to Minority Student Enrollment in Allied Health |
This presentation will identify factors that can encourage and discourage minority students to enroll in allied health programs (e.g., athletic training, physical therapy). Learn to understand enrollment decision-making and to select appropriate recruitment strategies necessary to increase minority enrollment in allied health degree programs. Findings will explain why some programs are experiencing a decrease in student enrollment, highlighted by the conspicuous absence of minorities. |
