Collaborative Strategies During Transition for Students with Disabilities |
Effective transition programming can prove difficult to implement when physical educators are working with families of multi-cultural backgrounds, students with low incidence disabilities, and a lack of collaboration between school and community members. Participants will be presented with useful and practical transition strategies for use with parents and professionals. Topics include meeting the needs of diverse populations, developing support systems among families, research-based transition strategies, and available resources to promote active living. |
