Why Healthy Kids Are the Business of Businesses |
Americans are seeing an increasing need for health care due to the overweight and obesity epidemic. There has also been an increase in health care costs and health insurance. Because the majority of Americans receive their health insurance from their employers, it is imperative that corporations be involved in encouraging healthy living. Discussion will include impacts of the epidemic on workplaces and what businesses can do to encourage healthy living in their workplaces and communities.
