Senior Fitness Programming as an Intergenerational Learning Tool |
The implementation of student-led senior fitness programming provides a rich opportunity for intergenerational learning. Both students and elders benefit from the intergenerational exchange of ideas and camaraderie. We will discuss practical considerations such as planning, implementation, and evaluation as well as benefits to the participants, university, and community. Specific examples will be shared. Learn how to incorporate intergenerational learning experiences into class assignments and program curricula. |
