Innovative Approaches to Teaching Biomechanical Concepts |
Teaching and learning biomechanical concepts requires a balance between theory and application. Unfortunately, topics such as momentum, inertia, center of mass, reaction forces, and muscle mechanics are widely misunderstood in general and so their applications are often misinterpreted. This session is designed to share innovative ways to teach specific key concepts that are grounded in scientific theory and succeed in helping students understand how to apply the concepts in real-life situations involving human movement. |
