Motivating Children with Autism to Ride a Stationary Bicycle |
Professionals in adapted physical education, pedagogy, and fitness won't want to miss this session. The purpose of this research project was to determine whether delayed or contingent reinforcement would result in a longer duration of pedaling a stationary recumbent bicycle within their target heart rate zone for children with moderate to severe autism. The results of this study are relevant because this technique can be used to motivate children to be physically active. |
