Coaching the Mental Side of Sport |
High school and college coaches will learn how to incorporate current mental training techniques used to enhance performance and group interaction. Techniques addressed will include developing goal setting, concentration training, mental imagery, positive self-talk training, and team building techniques in sport or the classroom setting. Teaching student-athletes how to develop and execute his/her own mental preparation plan is essential for coaching effectiveness.
