Diamonds Aren’t Forever: The Rise and Fall of Olympic Softball |
Olympic softball has been a dominated by the United States when the sport first appeared in the Modern Olympics. USA Softball failed to win the gold medal at the 2008 Beijing China Olympics knowing that the sport would be absent in London for the 2012 Games. This presentation will follow the sport, athletes, and International Olympic Committee governance systems from softballs initial bid acceptance to the recent attempt for re-admittance in the 2016. |
