Activities and Strategies in the Language Diverse Health Education Classroom |
English language learners (ELL) represent a significant and growing portion of U.S. students; with this increasing language diversity in the health education classroom, teachers are faced with increasing challenges. One important challenge is how to select learning activities and/or teaching strategies designed to support the learning and achievement of all students in the classroom. This session will demonstrate several learning activities and teaching strategies that will integrate and support multiple language domains. |
