University-Middle School Partnerships: Multilevel Benefits and Lessons Learned |
Lessons learned from Project SHAPE, a collaborative effort between the University of North Texas and Denton ISD Middle Schools to enhance state-mandated fitness testing will be presented. Best practices that maximize partnership opportunities for university faculty, administrators, and PE teachers, enhanced administration of fitness testing, training for undergraduate and graduate college students, and opportunities for fitness and health research will be provided. |
