This session provides an overview of Project ALERT. How the program works, key activities, curriculum assumptions, teaching strategies, expected outcomes and the approach to teacher training are discussed. Guidance is offered for achieving quality implementation through a solid understanding of key program components, appropriate adaptations and cultural and environmental modifications. Project ALERT services and subsidies specifically designed to support program sustainability are highlighted |
