Physical Education and Literacy: Lesson Plan Ideas to Promote Learning
With continued demand to increase activity and reading and writing abilities, this presentation will explore lesson plan ideas to promote learning for both. Interdisciplinary approaches can maximize student learning related to movement and reading and writing skills. “Generations of Title IX: Memorable Moments, Remarkable Women” is a tool that can be used to get students to write stories about sport role models and inspire students to be involved in activity.
