Impact of Motor Skill Prerequisites on Physical Education Teaching Competencies |
The purpose of this study was to determine the degree to which graduates of Central Michigan University’s physical education teacher education program know proper elements of form of selected motor skills, can perform those skills correctly and can accurately assess the performance of others upon completion of the program. This study validates the need for the recent changes in the teacher preparation program at Central Michigan University and possibly those necessary in the future.
