Physical Education Policy Implementation in Mississippi and Tennessee |
CEU OPPORTUNITY: This program examines the complex process of new physical education policy development and implementation in different Tennessee and Mississippi schools. This study presents the first year of a two-year, comparative case study (Yin, 2003) across two states, four counties, and eight schools. This year we have made more than 30 observations in schools and carried out 92 interviews with legislators, district superintendents, principals, vice-principals, PE teachers, classroom teachers, guidance counselors, and students. |
