Yoga in Schools: The Ethical Concerns about its Religious Connection |
CEU OPPORTUNITY: This mini session will examine the history and philosophy of yoga, its connection to the Hindu religion, the various uses of yoga in today’s society (including schools), and the dilemma and ethical concerns of having a form of exercise so strongly connected to a religion being promoted in physical education programs throughout the United States.
