The Dynamic Relationship between Motor Skill Competence and Physical Fitness |
CEU OPPORTUNITY: This presentation will provide the results of our 3-year NASPE Research Grant. The purpose of this study was to examine the dynamic relationship between motor skill competence and physical fitness in childhood (ages 5-14) and adults (ages 18-25 & 35-55). The long-term intent of our work is to provide a developmental model and scientific basis for future motor skill and physical fitness/activity intervention strategies to change physical fitness/activity trajectories across the lifespan. |
