FoodMASTER: Using Food as a Tool to Impact Health Literacy |
This session will provide an overview of the National Institutes of Health-Science Education Partnership Award funded FoodMASTER Initiative project for 3rd graders in Southeast Ohio. The curriculum development process, example activities, connections to national math and science standards, and evaluation will be discussed. Reviewing the lessons learned from this 3 year Phase I curriculum development project will serve as a resource to those interested in project processes and/or the developed educational materials. |
