Navigating the Department Chair Position: Is It Different for Females? |
This session is a roundtable discussion of the pros and cons of being a department chair. The speakers, who are African American women who are department chairs at a Historically Black University and a predominantly White institution of higher education, will facilitate a discussion on the roles and responsibilities of department chairs. They will also share their personal experiences as it relates to being a chair and how to be successful in this demanding role. |
