Addressing the Obesity Epidemic: Collaboration with Elementary School Teachers |
CEU OPPORTUNITY: The purpose of this presentation is to provide instructional strategies for the physical educator and the elementary school classroom teacher, and present techniques for merging physical activity and health related knowledge into classroom content, with the goal of having classroom teachers value and promote physical activity and health knowledge for healthier, more active children. This reciprocal relationship between classroom content and physical education serves to advance both the cognitive and physical well-being of our children. |
