Issues in Researching Young People in Physical Activity Settings |
CEU OPPORTUNITY: This session focuses on opportunities and challenges in doing research with young people in physical activity settings. Keynote speaker, Kimberly Oliver, examines working with adolescent girls to: understand how they view their bodies, help them critique body messages that threaten their health; and assist them in transforming physical activity inequities. Laura Azzarito and Amy Tischler will then lead a discussion on youth physical activity and femininity/masculinity. The forum will conclude with a short business meeting. |
