Promoting Health and Physical Activity through Undergraduate Service Learning Projects |
In this session, several undergraduate service learning projects will be introduced including the Read and Run Marathon, Healthpalooza, PeeWee Penpals, Kansas Kids Fitness Day, and the Red Shoelace Project. These are all successful projects in which HPER majors at Emporia State University in Emporia, KS have become involved and have served their community while learning to be professional advocates for health and physical activity. |
