College Fitness and Wellness Classes: Past History and Future Trends |
Fitness and Wellness classes (FWC) for non-major students in higher education were an innovation that began in the late 1950s. Most schools now have either required or elective FWC. This program will track the history and current trends of FWC. Practical ideas for course improvements, including web based learning, will also be presented. |
