Eta Sigma Gamma: Perception, Technology and Social Change
What role has technology played in shaping our current lives, institutions, culture and professional practice? In 1973 Drs. Charles Kaiser and Robert Gold wrote a paper predicting the long term consequences of increasing changes in technology. Thirty-four years later, most of the predicted outcomes have been borne out. What will happen from here? This is an examination of "futures" based events dating to pre-history. Join us for a six millenium look at technology and its influences. Sponsored by Eta Sigma Gamma.
