Facilities are essential for all sport and recreational activities. Design and construction of any sport and recreational facility, regardless of size is a complex undertaking. This session will introduce the participants to all they need to know about building codes by eliminating the mystery and myth associated with those codes. Participants will also learn about deficiencies that can occur on projects of different types, the effects these will have on the operation of facilities, and what remedies may be available to correct these deficiencies. Topics discussed will be universal and will be applicable to public and private facility personnel.
