How Adventure Can Enhance Your Physical Education Program
Through the help of a 2004 PEP Grant, Natrona County District in Casper, Wyoming brought Adventure in as a component of our K-12 Physical Education program. In this worksop, teachers from around the district will present the original intent of bringing Adventure to the district, how it is currently being used, and how it has enhanced PE. Presenters will also discuss the positive student outcomes that are being seen at all grade levels. Sample activities will be part of the workshops, giving participants a sense of the Adventure-based curriculum that is being integrated and implemented throughout Natrona County.
