Dancing with Disabilities -- Adapted Movement |
This workshop is dedicated to encouraging creativity within us all - a great session for experienced and novice teachers seeking exciting, practical movement applications for students with disabilities. Legal/ethical and curricular issues will be discussed. Participants help students achieve self-confidence, artistry and love through lifetime research and best creative practices in adapting movement principles. This workshop is based on cross-disciplinary connections between the two presenters who represent dance artistry and adapted physical education and their invited guest speakers.Resources and assessment will be reviewed (This is not a physical therapy session.) |
