A Visual Vocabulary for Analyzing and Evaluating Movement
As evidence-based practice gains importance in our profession, both practitioners and researchers in various specializations will benefit from the use of a shared language about movement. At present we seem to lack such a means of communication. The primary purpose of this session is to use graphically enhanced video to introduce a visual vocabulary for analyzing and evaluating human movement. In addition, implications and applications in a wide range of settings will be discussed. Attendees can expect to enhance their observational skills and improve their ability to communicate about movement.
