Voices of the Students: Hear from LGBTQ High School Students
In order to facilitate change in the area of diversity and inclusion, one first needs to be informed as to the barriers and difficulties of the group being oppressed. Students who identify as LGBTQ often feel unsafe and not supported at school. A panel of students will share their stories. The objective of the session is to hear from students who are impacted by their daily experience and listen to their ideas for change. This session will have an opportunity to ask questions and continue the dialog needed to facilitate change in schools.
