Assessment of Health Knowledge Among Freshmen Students at Hashemite University
The development of health education programs for Jordanian college students requires further research, as no published data exists on general health knowledge of this population. The primary objectives of this research were assessing the general level of Jordanian freshmen’s health knowledge, determining the sources of health knowledge, and reviewing the current national curricula for grades 1-12. Attendees will benefit by 1) obtaining original study results prior to publication; 2) learning about cross-cultural research methodology; 3) identifying the application of the Ecological Model to the study; and 4) understanding the study’s importance in filling a gap in the professional literature.
