Personal Strength Curriculum |
This presentation provides an in-depth look at a standards-based curriculum for a high school strength training class. The emphasis will be on working with general populations of high school students in the areas of core body strength, progressions for teaching Olympic lifts, and teaching students how to develop their own fitness plans. The presentation will also cover the use of technology in the weight room/fitness center and integration of other subjects into this physical education class. Participants will be actively involved with demonstrations.
