Divining Teaching: Knowing by Inspiration, Reflection and Magic |
The focus of this program is to examine the spiritual aspects of teaching. As suggested by Parker Palmer, “the who that teaches”, may be more important than the what, why and how. The intended audience is teachers, teacher educators and administrators. The purpose is to value that part of teaching that is spiritual, divine, inspired, or magic. It is that moment when we guess or intuit what to do, and truly inspire teacher educators.
Students who cannot acknowledge and accept their imperfection cannot be sensitive and caring to their future students. |
