Early Childhood Educational Games, Gymnastics, and Dance - An Enriching Experience |
This activity session will demonstrate the many benefits of utilizing educational games, gymnastics, and dance experiences to develop children’s physical and emotional needs through the movement concepts of body, space, qualities, and relationships. A movement-based program provides young children with activities in critical thinking, motor skill development, movement sequencing, cooperative learning, creativity, and integration of academics. Program participants will understand how to apply the movement education framework in reference to the national standards, formulating movement problems and movement themes, and with lesson plan design for young children ages 3-8. |
